What a delight to kick off our Projectkin “All About That Place” series with
sharing new insights into the study of a single place. You’ve probably already heard about our involvement with this incredible organized by the Society of Genealogists, the Society for One-Place Studies, the British Association for Local History, and Genealogy Stories and sponsored by dozens of companies and organizations — including Simon’s company, WeAre.xyz.In examples and demonstrations, Simon shared how exploring places can bring stories to life. In some of the very first public views of a new set of One-Place Study (OPS) features of WeAre.xyz, Simon demonstrated connections in maps, photographs, drone videos and more as a way to explore a place.
