Sometimes, magic happens when you put a group of people together. Today’s program, the second in our series of programs offered via Zoom to celebrate “All About That Place” (#AATP24), was just such an event. The compelling nature of our guests’ stories about midwifery and community burial practices hit a nerve. By the end of the program, our speakers and attendees had connected as fast friends, and the conversation lingered long after the recording concluded. Generously donating their time and expertise today as speakers were:

Projectkin’s participation in the AATP24 series was designed to call attention to the role of place in our family stories. Internationally, the series is organized by the Society of Genealogists, the Society for One-Place Studies, the British Association for Local History, and Genealogy Stories and sponsored by dozens of companies and organizations.
