Oh, wonderful. And for place, digital formats create so many other fun attributes. I've loved using place references in my WeAre.xyz archive because it has an integrated Google Earth function to create "flyovers" of a place and, of course, you can link people to places as easily as you link them to each other and to photographs.

Studying place gives you that sense of presence and spatial relationships that it's hard to get in other ways... how close a village was to a river, for example. How large the river is. Anyhoo... sounds like a fun project.
