In this final Kathy Stone program of the year building on her blog 8 Steps to Take You from Tubs of Photos to Tales of Yore, she combined steps 7 “Tell the Stories” with 8 “Add the Wisdom of Crowds,” in a program she called “The Good Part.”
As she wrote in her blog post, telling the stories makes a lot more sense when the context of a photo is clear:
Now as you open each photo, faces are named, and the context is clear, let the stories bubble out.
The wisdom of crowds is less obvious from a distance, but makes perfect sense when you drill in:
… as any reunion will reveal, everyone remembers events a little differently. Tidbits collected from around the family can provide a wealth of context to help sort facts from fabrications.
You may find a few of the references useful from the chat as well.
Please note: This program is intended for the benefit of all Projectkin member subscribers. If you’ve managed to find this and are not yet a member, well, that’s because we’ve tried to keep all content free for everyone.
