Perhaps you all know of something better? I'm looking for the time it might have taken for my aging Revolutionary War veteran great-grandfather to travel the 18 miles from Meriden, Connecticut, to New Haven, should he have wanted to participate in events for the Marquis de Lafayette in 1824. 🥹
