RootsTech in bunny slippers 🐰🐰? It’s a party!
Since so many of us are participating in RootsTech remotely, why not do it together? Join me in this RootsTech Project Party🎉
Today I’m announcing the RootsTech "Project Party" with two talks and commentary, shared each day of the show, Feb 29th to Mar 2nd — FREE!
Short: No talk will be more than 30 minutes long. We’re lucky to catch several of our speakers between other commitments, they don’t have much time — and you’ll want to attend virtually too! (Register here.)
“After Party”: I’ve planned each so we also have 30 minutes after the talk for that vaunted “after party.” It’s a simple way we can chat amongst ourselves with the video recording off.
Recorded: Each of the talks will be recorded and I’ll post the recordings as soon as they’re ready at our special Projectkin.org/rootstech page.
Searchable Transcripts: Hey, we’re all busy, you want to get to that thing she said?… Tap transcript, then search from your browser and poof. Now tap the words, and the video fast forwards to that spot. Sweet!
Emailed Daily: Each day, I’ll circulate the day’s recordings in email (I don’t want to stuff your mailbox further than it already is, but this way you’ll have access and be ready to share!)
OPEN TO ALL: Finally, since this is RootsTech and a big deal, I’m making all recordings available to members and non-members alike.
Unlike most ’stacks here on Substack, the Projectkin Community Forumis less like a newsletter and more like a corner café. We’re folks hooked on stories, and we may as well be hanging out down at the pub, swapping stories.
So with the largest family history event of the year on the calendar, how about we do this together.
If you ARE already a member, you’ll know about the super-secret special offer I’ve made exclusively for members 🤫. More at the Projectkin Members’ Corner. Deadlines are coming up fast! This will be announced at RootsTech.
I've managed to get the events onto my Google Calendar. My iCal is not cooperative, argh. ICal is how I share my events with family so they know I'm BUSY, lol.
