In case you missed it: In today's Projectkin Live, I chatted with my guest in our Projectkin program on Thursday, Lori Olson White the author behind The Lost & Found Storybox on Substack
Remember the part where I mentioned a category for "Genealogy" and Lori gave Substack a shoutout for "Give us our label," well, here's the reference from September last year. We're a very patient community with a deep sense of history but come on, "give us our label," 😉
I so enjoyed this conversation! I especially liked the bit about moms repeating family stories. My mother frequently retold stories, which is the only reason I remember them! I also retell stories. Once my husband stopped me and said: “We’ve heard this one before.” And my son said: “it’s okay, let’s hear it again. Grandma told me stories over again. It’s important to get the lore.”

Oh, Lisa, that’s beautiful 🥲
Every self-respecting Midwesterner knows grape jelly goes with meatballs in the crockpot. LOL
Uh oh… who knew my poutine to queso comment would lead here! 😂
Hey but Little Smokies are a big hit, too!
