Events that bring us together in conversation, shared experiences, and a common goal — sharing our stories. Family history and genealogy events on the Projectkin calendar.
This is so interesting to learn of One Place Studies and these other connections. I had no idea how many others had begun the kind of project I'd taken up a decade ago. Thanks for all the resources you provide.
Thank you for your kind words, Jill. I'm thrilled to help spread the idea. We've always known that “places” are characters in our stories. Now with a community developing, and the guidance of the Society for One Place Studies, we can draw best practices from each other and apply them to our own projects. Genealogy is inherently collaborative. 🎉
Gulp, well now THAT was embarrassing. Problem fixed. Thank you so much for saying so. Now, from the calendar entry for Projectkin.org/3-oct, the registration link correctly goes to the right Zoom session registration. 🤦♀️ Thank you so much for speaking up. I might not have noticed it. And here I was so proud of my little 3-oct redirect... yikes. Test & test. https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwpdeyhqj0jHtA8IXV0grrREUkcZ8092orh#/registration

Barbara, the link for October 3rd presentations Dr. Annette Laing & Cynthis Raleigh links to a totally different presentation pair, on October 5th!
Hopefully this will be fixed soon - I definitely want to listen to Annette in particular!! - Celia
