Aw, thank you. It's one of my all-time favorites. I adored my dear great-aunt. In many ways, she started me down this path with an interest in Family history in the late 1970s, come to think of it. I haven't given her enough credit.

Found it! This is a 1921 Oldsmobile 43A Series Touring, AKA "The Swamp rat." It is best known as the family vehicle in the 1960s sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies." I am laughing hard right now Barbara. It seems your family is irrevocably tied to the Beverly Hillbillies now. 😂😂😂

Looks like about a 1920 Buick touring. The gas cap is fairly diagnostic and the 12 spoke wooden wheels are period. The slanted vents on the cowling are distinctive but I can't place it.

She looks about 13 to me so that puts us in the ball park of about 1920-1921 for the photo. Terminus ante quem - that puts the car at about 1915-1921.
