Drawing on a post about hosting a Potluck (or "Share a Dish" or "Share a Plate") party, Cynthia shared her strategies for using food and recipes to center a conversation around family stories.
I have been looking forward to this session Cynthia but unfortunately wasn’t able to attend today. I have just watched your talk and thought it was wonderful. I loved your ideas and thoughts and you have sparked food memories that I haven’t thought about in years. As the host of Speakers Corner, I can say that I agree with Barbara that a food session would be really great and I would be very interested to see it happen. There is a Poll below the video in the post. I would ask anyone who is interested in having a food session on speakers corner to please let us know.
And I DO, Marian! It dawned on me to create this Members' Map when one of our members in Australia mentioned that she wasn't sure where other members were in terms of time zones. Why not put everyone on a map? (See the map and join us: projectkin.substack.com/p/patrons-page-and-members-map)
I'm delighted to see how these Projectkin conversations have led to the sharing of differences across our common languages. Potluck is a "Share-a-dish" or "Share-a-plate" party in other parts of the world. Go figure!

I have already shared my Grandma's pot pie recipe with my own experience on my own Substack pages: https://marianbeaman.substack.com/p/grandmas-pot-pie
By the way, thank you for the postcard I received in the mail today. What a clever way to show care!
