In what amounts to a kick-off of the next fortnight of RootsTech, Kathy Stone joined me for a preview of the conversation she has planned for this week's Kathy's Corner on Thursday (or Fri, Asia/Pac)
My children thank you. You've inspired me to sell some of my postcards or give them away. I bought postcards everywhere I went because film was expensive, developing was expensive, and you wouldn't know if the photo turned out until long after you'd gone home. Postcards guaranteed beautiful pictures. After cleaning out four homes after family members passed away, I vowed I would not leave piles of junk for my children to deal with. I've been getting rid of stuff little by little.
When we have had that experience of cleaning out the homes of those who have passed, it does make us more cognizant of what we leave behind. Next month we are going to talk to Jane Chapman and the "Treasure Box" she inherited. I am looking forward to hearing about that.

Great conversation Kathy and Barbara. I'm really annoyed with myself that I missed it, but thankful that I can catch up with the recording.
Oh, goodness, not at all. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
