I love this idea, and more so knowing that there are a lot of local and regional subject matter experts in the group to whom we can turn for the secret sauce stuff only locals know, but which turn facts into stories 😉
I know I’ve learned so much from others who have reached out and added local knowledge over the years.
Exactly! We may need to work out an appropriate protocol for asking for help, however. I’m open to suggestions or could just draft something myself. I’m starting with the principle that it’s only for subscribers who explicitly opt-in by sharing their address. I have content rules at Projectkin.substack.com/about. I’m thinking of something like that so that if we have bad actors we can say… 🚫, ya know?
Very cool! Were your ears buzzing yesterday? I'm at the Historical Novel Society of North America virtual conference this weekend. Mentioned ProjectKin in one of the chat forums. (:

Agreed - I’m just wishful thinking 😉
To be clear, I think it’s a terrific idea!
Love this!

Oh, wow! Word of mouth! Thank you so much.
Someone on the chat said "thank you" for pointing it out to her!
What a great idea!
