Leaving a legacy with your powerful personal stories

Storytelling is a universal practice we use to pass along our memories to future generations.  Whether or not you consider yourself a writer, everyone has a lifetime of stories to share and getting these down on paper assures that they will live on.

As an author, storyteller, and podcast host, I welcome guests from around the globe each week to share the stories they’re leaving as their legacy. We pull back the curtains, get real and raw, going behind the scenes and discussing the story-telling processes they use. You’ll get plenty of tips and tools (and lots of inspiration) to help you write your own stories.

I joined Projectkin to surround myself with enthusiastic family historians who are also passionate about "preserving their past."  I am excited to be inspired by and learn from others as well as share any of the tips and tools and creative ideas that could benefit someone else.  Writing and researching can be isolating endeavors, and so I look forward most of all to being part of this dynamic community.

I hope you enjoy this podcast episode. I look forward to getting to know more of you as members of Projectkin and collaborating with you in projects as part of my own Preserving Your Past group on Facebook.
